HDPE/PP Tapes (TAP)
In the world of woven packaging, the tape is considered as the soul of bags as the quality depends more or less on it. Tapes are used to form the fabric by which packaging bags are made. In the industry, PP (Polypropylene) and HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) tapes are majorly used.
The Tape Extrusion Lines at our facility are efficient to process PP/HDPE tapes for a wide variety of applications such as woven/knitted bags, jumbo bags (FIBCs), carpet backing, tarpaulin, wrapping fabric, ropes, twines and many more. During the production, the cutting edge tape making technology uses a dual-stage stretching process where the tapes are pre-stretched before they pass into the hot air oven for a final stretch. It makes the process smoother and improves the working speed and efficiency. It also provides stability to the whole process. In addition to this, it helps in enhancing the tape properties as well.
Granule and Masterbatch are the key material used in the manufacturing of tapes. Though specific temperature and calculations are essential to turn granules into the end product.
